Tortoise 1.6.2 also 'silently failed' after installing on my Vista machine.

"As a follow-up, about a week ago, I upgraded to tortoise-svn 1.6.3, and all is well. I don't know whether the problem was with 1.6.2, my download, or my installation. But in any case, 1.6.3 works well and looks stable."
